This Privacy Policy explains how the Convert Units Plus and Units Plus mobile applications (together, “the App”), developed and published by Alan Mrvica (“I”, “me”, or “the developer”), handle information. This policy applies specifically to the App. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

Information I collect

I do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (such as your name, postal address, or phone number) through the App. Your settings, favorite conversions, and preferences are stored locally on your device only and are not transmitted to me.

Information collected by third-party services

The App relies on established third-party services that may collect limited information — such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app-usage, and diagnostic data — in accordance with their own privacy policies. These services and their purposes are:

• Google Play services — core app functionality and integrity. (policy)
• Google AdMob — displays advertisements in the free version of the App and may use your device’s advertising ID to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads. (policy)
• Google Firebase Analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage and diagnostic data that helps me understand how the App is used and improve it. (policy)
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers optional push notifications using a device registration token. (policy)
• RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and validates in-app purchases using a randomly generated app-user identifier and purchase information; it does not receive your name or payment-card details. (policy)
• Currency exchange-rate provider (Open Exchange Rates) — the App requests publicly available exchange-rate data to power currency conversions; no personal information is sent. (policy)

Advertising

The free version of the App shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising ID. You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Premium subscribers do not see ads.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact me and I will promptly delete it.

Data retention and deletion

Because I do not collect personal data, there is no personal data held by me to retain or delete. Information handled by the third-party services listed above is governed by their respective policies. You can remove the App’s locally stored data at any time by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect information handled through the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised accordingly.
